Harit Joshi is a faculty in the area of operations, supply chain management and quantitative methods at SPJIMR. Harit holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His dissertation examines the value provided by coordination mechanisms like matching and dynamic pricing in ride-hailing platforms. His research interest lies in the areas of supply chain coordination, agent-based modelling, the sharing economy, multi-sided platforms and urban mobility. Before his Ph.D., Harit worked in the automotive industry with Ashok Leyland and Daimler for almost five years in various functions like production, procurement and logistics and new product project management. Before joining SPJIMR, Harit was working as an assistant professor at the business school of the Jindal Global University.
