Bio

Toru Terada, an associate professor of the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at the University of Tokyo, is a landscape planning researcher/educator with an urban and regional planning background. His current research projects, spanning from urban agriculture to urban forestry, shrinking cities, circular and sustainable cities, showcase his extensive knowledge and expertise. One of his passion projects is organic gardening, which he actively engages in with his students, further demonstrating his practical understanding of the subject.
