This course is really what makes it possible to translate what I've learnt into what I can showcase to my prospective employers. And having all these amazing tips and guidance given by the HR personnel/ hiring managers that work at one of the top companies in the world helps me have a benchmark on how it should be and could be.

Most of the material is really easy to pick up on as it is explained really well. Admittedly, I felt somewhat overwhelmed during the network security portion (Course 3). However, being able to revisit material is a lifesaver. I enjoyed doing the labs. It gave me more confidence in the material I studied. Highly recommended.

This Google cybersecurity course was AWESOME!!!! So much information given throughout the course. I was thought Linux, SQL, Python, SIEM tools, Security frameworks etc. You get so much plus more for your money. I've recommended some of my friends to register for the course. some of the extra/side road information is a little overboard. listening to everyones specific path to their career and discussing things with anonymous people on the internet that in turn could be what separates you in an interview when competing against that person for a job opening is a turn off.

Very encouraging way to learn, even for someone without any prior knowledge of the field. Programming basics and an intro into all aspects of the field. It is taught in small videos and short reading passages. The anytime, anywhere nature of the instruction makes it perfect for anyone's schedule.

Great course, Give you complete insight of various topic of cybersecurity, well thought of course structure to make learning pleasant and effective. I am very thankfull to coursera and Google to provide this great learning oppoutunity for every one. Long live Coursera and Google.

By far the best theory and practical online course i have taken. This course added value to my mindset and tweaks my perspective in terms of cybersecurity, The Hands-on labs lesson have increased my understanding of SQL and Python, had fair experience with Linux.

This was a great course to take. I appreciate the way it's taught. The videos are the right amount of time a full of information so you're not bored, the reading reiterate what was said in the videos and the labs really help to drive in what you learned.

This course is full of information much more than I expected. It is full of both text and images, videos, people from practice, etc. It's challenging, but that's why, or rather thanks to it, I learned much more than just the basics of cybersecurity.

The instructors are knowledgeable and engaging, making complex topics accessible. The hands-on exercises enhance learning and help solidify skills. Overall, it's an excellent course for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of cybersecurity.

This is my first course from coursera and I really find it good for entry level analyst. There is a lot of knowledge about cybersecurity. I will recommend this course to everyone. who is looking to get into cybersecurity or want to know about it.

Course 8 of the Google Cybersecurity specialisation. This course was good in sharing

(1) how to find the cybersecurity community around your area to learn from and interact with them

(2) interview preparation - outside or within your company

The information is very good, well structured, easy to follow. Wish it could go more into details but it definitely sets the path towards understanding everything and building a security mindset. A good starting point for security career.

While I did complete the course, considering that positions that are open have well over 200 applicants with many having bachelors degrees, I feel that this alone will not help you get a job but is only a stepping stone if anything.
