This course was super-helpful in teaching me many important patterns for effectively interacting with ChatGPT. Jules White is a great professor who provided excellent explanations, examples and tips for structuring prompts that result in the desired output. I found the course to be both practical and fun.

The course was well presented and mind expanding, in a creative way! Thank you! The course could be enhanced with engaging content for visual/graphical learners. For example: Personification of the AI and human interactions as actual characters, as in a cartoon illustration.

I appreciate the engaging instructor. I learn from examples, and he had great examples. I like the reading and list of prompts after each video, so I pasted them into word. Most videos were great (2 have bad sound). Consider adding screenshots of his example to the prompt word documents. Great class

I really learned many interesting techniques of how leverage better from ChatGPT, as well as being creative is the key for generating better prompts.

I recommend this course if you are passionate about Large language models and want to use more efficiently ChatGPT or any other LLM.

Really really great course. Super interesting and shows the power of what prompts can do. Even though it was all just talking head with text examples, the instructor kept things super interesting, used really great examples, and explained everything in an easy to digest manner. Highly recommended.

Dr. White did an outstanding job at providing a wealth of information in an organized manner. He also provides links to other valuable papers on the topic of prompt engineering. I am astounded by what can actually be achieved by using ChatGPT as a tool as opposed to using it as a search engine!

Super helpful. I had already been working prompt engineering to embed AI into a software product. Course was a bit more focused on using AI as more of a live tool versus embedded in software. Regardless, I learned many things that were useful both for software, and also for live use.

The casual but structured way Jules brings the course made it highly enjoyable and this helped to maintain attention and get the maximum out of the course. I feel that what I learned made a great difference in preparing to complete case interviews and landing my dream job in cloud / AI.

The first half is extremely easy. It could have been slightly more challenging. Social media content already teaches half these techniques but you might want to do this course to explore some complex use cases. If you can be creative with what is taught here, this course is worth doing.

Dr. Jules White was about a perfect instructor as could be, for the AI inspired essential skill, Prompt engineering for ChatGPT! Dr. White has a very good understanding of this engineering skill and of course Vanderbilt University couldn't be any better of an institution for AI today!

Great course that definitely provided a lot of new insights, enriching not only my daily business life. Before starting, I was quite a beginner in using LLMs, and the course content was indeed challenging. However, it was absolutely worth it and brought a wealth of valuable knowledge.

It was a Great learning from Professor Jules White, I have gained knowledge on how the prompt and LLM works. Definitely needed for prompting the LLM models , lot of patterns helps to greatly achieve the end user output from the LLM. Thanks a lot to this module team and coursera too.
