Highly recommended for those who have never programmed before or are intimidated by programming. Charles Severance makes Python seem like the easiest thing you can learn.

it's a good introduction course for anybody interested in Python but never actually had a chance to get to into it. Definitely go for the higher level courses afterwards!

Great course to start learning Python as a beginner! Lectures are short, simple and fun and complicated topics are stripped down to easy to understand learning materials.

I never know learning programming could be this fun and intellectually-rewarding. The Professor is of the best quality and humor that I have ever encountered. Keep it up!

Excelent course, It covers what it says. I have some programming experience but never programmed in python so this course was awesome to learn the python structure to me.

Very good introduction to python. Dr Chuck is a very friendly, affable teacher. The textbook is free. The load of this class is not so heavy. I really enjoyed the class.

Nice way of giving the material, easy to understand and interesting to listen. Across all the others courses what I made before on Coursera, this one is the most curious.

The basics covered in an easy, comprehensible way. A 6-year old would get that probably, which means it's explained like it should be for a "getting started with" course.

The course and the instructor are amazing. I would like if there is a summery distributed (before the course) to help practising and memorising codes and their meanings.
