I had a small experience of coding before this course, but found the structure very intuitive and the instructions clear. Prior to the course I didn't even know how (or where) to enter code on my Mac, I'm now able to write some simple code to execute a range of instructions. Really interesting course.

Easy to follow, and I have no experience with coding whatsoever! Got rid of my fear of programming and looking forward to continue with the next courses. I've taken a few introductory programming courses from different providers but i think this is the best one so far for people who are starting off. It lives up to the title "Programming for Everybody". Prof Severance makes it fun which I think is important in the beginning because programming is hard!

I was so interested in learning programming especially python and i was not finding any platform to help, until i enrolled in this coursera course that gave me all the necessary information to start coding.Although, i got 100 on most of the assignments which proved that i am understanding very well.

I feel previliged to got the chance to learn python from coursera . But in this course the lecturer try every way to make the syllabus more funny with maximum understandable. That is the KEY POINT of this course.

I loved this course so much! I learnt a great deal, and I was so excited about the content that I could not wait for the next video/assignment/reading. The concepts were well explained, the course material is great and I like the instructor. It definitely lived up to its name of Python for Everybody.

This is by far one of the easiest courses on Python for absolute beginners. The instructor starts from absolute scratch and build using basic examples and detailed explanations. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and hope to gain more and more understanding and practice on Python in this Specialization.

The professor who teaches this course is extremely helpful, patient, and as a bonus is a total goofball. This made the course not only useful but also very enjoyable. The first week's material seems like it'll be a lot to process, so I was a bit worried at that point, but the subsequent weeks really break down each little thing. Dr. Chuck is so good at explaining the material in an easy to understand way. I can't wait to continue with the 2nd part of this course.

Super good course for beginners. With some beginner python knowledge prior to starting the course, I was able to complete it and fully understand it within 5-6 hours. However, I still learned a lot of information from Charles and enjoyed the way he explained the main concepts for a general beginner.

Great course for beginniners in this field. Lesson plans are laid out very well. Prof takes his time explaining each concept and idea. The assignments and quizzes were complimentary of the lessons and not overly challenging. Would recommend this course to anyone who wants to get started with Python.

Best course for beginners who have zero programming knowledge. But if you come from a C++ background and want to start Python it is a bit slow course.
