Master of IT Performance Pathways

Below, you can enroll in the non-credit options that offer pathways into the Master of Information Technology program. You may choose one of two pathways:

  • Performance Pathway Courses:  Complete three short courses that introduce core IT concepts. You can upgrade from non-credit to for-credit at any time during your learning journey, and your progress will carry with you. Additional material and assessments are required to earn credit and are available after tuition is paid.

  • Google IT Support Professional Certificate: Complete the professional certificate on Coursera. You can upgrade from non-credit to for-credit at any time during your learning journey, and your progress will carry with you. Additional material and assessments are required to earn credit and are available after tuition is paid. 

Once you complete your chosen pathway with a B or higher and provide proof of a bachelor’s degree, you will be admitted as a degree-seeking student. This bachelor’s degree requirement applies to both pathway options. No matter which pathway you choose, your completed work will count for 3 credits toward the 30-credit Master of Information TechnologyOpens in a new tab degree program at Illinois Tech.
