Professor R. Sudarshan is the founding Dean of the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, O.P. Jindal Global University. He has an M.A. in Economics from D-School. He was a Rhodes scholar at Oxford, where he completed an M. Phil in Politics. During a research fellowship at St. John's College, Cambridge, he studied judicial review of economic legislation. He worked in the Ford Foundation, New Delhi, as Human Rights & Social Justice program officer. He has served UNDP for 22 years in New Delhi, Jakarta, Oslo and Bangkok. His publications comprise edited books, articles, and policy reports, reflecting his inter-disciplinary interests.
