This is a good review of political systems but is quite long-winded at times. The lecturer often "shows off" his knowledge, rather than teaching anything. I learned quite a lot about how different countries elect their candidates. However, although there is a whole lecture about "the future of democracy", I don't think that it actually covered the future of democracy. I also didn't get a very convincing argument for why democracy is the best possible system, or which democratic system is best, or how the current problems with democracy can be resolved.
