Thank you to Professor Schiller for making the lecture available. It covers a lot of the basics of the financial markets. Some of the assignments' questions are to test our understanding of the basics, and some require deeper thinking. The modules are practical in substance, not just theories.

Excellent course. Professor Shiller is a superb teacher. However, this course is not strictly for beginners. It is implicit that the prospective student has a knowledge of finance and investments. In other words, has completed at least one or two undergraduate courses in finance & investments.

It's nothing short of a phenomenal course conducted by an extraordinary professor whose way of teaching is sure to evoke an interest in finance among the learners. This course has given me a well-round understanding of financial instruments, their uses, as well as the importance of regulation.

It was a very interesting course, I just wished we the frontiers between chapters could have been drawn more clearly. Like CAPM & Efficient portfolio theory could have had a dedicated chapter that we would have then completed with a behavioural finance chapter (that is more or less week 2).

Well done - the basis, structure, methodology and expirience sharing can help a lot for organise well the approach to work with the finance. On daily job (as well for investors) it is usefull to keep as a background, to structurise market information, workload and goals. Thank you very much!

I would especially like to thank the teacher for the information available to everyone. Even complex topics were presented in very simple words and clearly. The professor also speaks slowly and clearly, which helped me, as a non-native speaker, to understand everything he is talking about.

I believe I have developed a better understanding of Financial Market. Amazing how closely it relates to and gets driven by human psychology. Human behaviour can be so irritational at times to the extent that we need regulations and laws to protect us from the consequences of our actions.

I think this course is perfect for anyone who is interested in finance, doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a person who is already familiar with financial concepts. Also, Robert Shiller is a really amazing professor, he knows how to explain everything in a fun and interesting way.
