Welcome to the course! First, we’ll introduce some basics of Coursera and then move onto reviewing the logistics of performing a virtual skin assessment. We’ll focus on tips for capturing clinically useful images of involved and related areas that have appropriate focus, zoom, and lighting. We’ll also include how to assist patients to take appropriate pictures and some advice for using portable dermatoscopes.
