This course, Unlock the Power of Data with Power BI, was, at times, confused or mixed with the course, Harnessing the Power of Data in Power BI. Some of the quizzes referred to things that were not covered within the course but seemed to be covered in the ‘Harnessing’ course. For example, the roles of data analysts, data engineers, database administrators was not covered in the ‘Unlock’ course but were asked about in the quizzes. The final course quiz was even called ‘Harnessing the Power of Data in Power BI’ and reference things not covered in the ‘Unlock’ course, like specific details using Power Query. One of my errors on the course quiz gave a link to review the topic and it linked to the ‘Harnessing’ course, instead of the ‘Unlock’ course. This course did not show how enough examples in using Power BI desktop. There was only one time where we actually loaded some data into Power BI. I expected more demonstrations or walk-thru exercises in actually using the tool. The videos showed the instructor, dryly, reading from a script. I got more understanding by reading the video text below the video and saving important information from the text.
