A lot of information, but i feel like i fully understand core networking concepts. A lot of this info has helped me comprehend what will be required for me when I take my Network + certification exam.

Way too much information - should've been broken down into two parts. Poor explanation for subnetting. The interactive quizzes were confusing and I had to utilize outside resources. Discussion forums and mentors were NOT helpful. Glad that I've passed the section and am done with this course. I'll use another reource to master the topic.

FIlled with tons of concepts that you can't really get hands-on experience from, at least not through the Coursera outline. Seeing the same "instructor" reading the script at you is just not engaging, especially when he attempts to be engaging with puns. Hopefully the rest of these courses have more tangible lessons.

Not enough detail; instructor goes through things too fast and doesn't try to abstract very verbose things. I'm a tech enthusiast myself, so I understand that not everything can be abstracted; but christ, I was literally going to cry on IPv6 Compression

Mostly the course was boring as instructor just read from the second monitor. I wish they had more animated examples on how thing is working rather than showing the face of person. I had to watch NetworkChuck to understand what was happening.

I was really struggling with this one. I don’t know if its me or the way the information was explained, but I’m just not getting it. I am skipping over this for now, will work on the other courses and then come back to it.

Overly complex and hard to follow. Felt out of order. Maybe for cert provide a more simple beginner friendly introduction to networking and then provide a more advanced networking course that follows Network+ curriculum.

The course was very informative, but with that amount of knowledge I found myself lost when it came to quizzes and implementing a lot of what I had learned.

This course was very dense and at times it really lacked teaching you some of the questions required to answer the tests.

I lost count on how many times I fell asleep while watching this module videos, the teaching method is beyond boring, the instructor can't captivate your interest, you can clearly see he's reading what he says in the videos, and I seriously couldn't listen to him anymore, they use the same instructor for the 6 weeks of the course on almost every single video! it really seems like they're more interested in making you memorize everything or quit, than to actually make sure understand it, really not the best way to teach this, didn't enjoy this course at all.

This course has a problem with Wireless Channel Quiz of Week 5 learning. I tried a lot of time with 5 success scenario for the quiz but it still grade me 0 point, I asked customer service for support but they are not happy to help me and very unaccountable. For anyone who want to learn this course, you can learn but for this quiz "Wireless Channel" is very frustrating. This could be the first and last time I use this coursera platform because of terrible customer service.

I feel like I came out of this course more confused on networking than when I went in. Too often in it certain things would be talked about and while trying to figure out what was going on I would miss learning anything. Then later it would be said oh yeah you might be wondering what I'm talking about and its xyz. I feel the course was laid out poorly and really is not set up for a beginner to learn anything.

Not having fun repeatedly trying to finish their Layers test which keeps marking me as wrong. There's no way anybody can fail that test since they give you the answers. Yet changing computers and browsers has no effect on the results. I keep getting failed at that one exam.

Wasted a hour already today with this.

There is a bug in the quiz IPv6 that will automatically fail you and Coursera isn't doing anything to help us besides forwarding us back to a Discussion Forum that is full of peers having the same issue and no solution. Or they write automated messages saying they are going to look into it.

This course is ridiculous: there is a flaw with the course that prevents me from moving forward, yet I am not able to get any technical assistance whatsoever. Its all about generating income nothing else. There is no mentor, no customer service number. Unbelivable

IPv6 Compression Quiz is bugged, I have typed all the right answers and whenever I submit it, the grade I get is 0%. This the most stupid quiz and its hilarious that an IT support program have technical issues . oh and Support is dead with no one to fix this.

Basically same thing as everyone else says, you're gonna do most of your learning off the platform after they say something you don't understand and you google it. Maybe that's why its a "Google IT" course?

Course is a all information and no actual practice. People don't learn by passively watching videos. The course requires a rework. through in some packet Tracer practice work. Not worth the time.

Too much information being crammed in and not enough explanation. I had to give up at some point, because I am just not interested in networking to begin with and the instructor isn't helping

I literally can't complete the course because of a SERIOUS bug in "IPv6 Compression" and the tech support in the forums does not seem to help whatsoever. extremely frustrating
